The BBC Big Band are well known and
respected throughout the country for their
impressive performances to the extent that
the band was voted "Best Big Band" at the
British Jazz Awards in '92, '94, '97, '99 and
2001.
The band has played with guests such as Van
Morrison, Georgie Fame, Michael Ball, Martin
Taylor, Ian Shaw and Claire Martin.
