The Doncaster Jazz Orchestra specialises in recreating
the 'Music of the Masters' such as
Ellington, Basie, Herman, Rich, etc - alongside
the challenging charts of today's professional big bands in the USA such as Bob Florence, Tom
Kubis, Matt Catingub, Bob Mintzer, plus original
orchestrations from some of the finest jazz
composers in the UK.
A variety of style and programme balance is
strived for via the musical intricacies of swing,
blues, ballads, latin, rock, fusion and straightahead
jazz.
